Flock, Feeds, Google Reader

Bru just told me, answering my twitter, that it’s possible to set FireFox to subscribe to feeds in Google Reader by clicking on the orange feed link.
I can’t find how to do that in Flock — I wonder if it’s possible? Shame if it isn’t.

When Does Flock Synchronize my Favorites?

I’m a bit frustrated about the fact that Flock seems to synchronize my favorites on a whim. I star sites, and they take ages (sometimes) to end up in del.icio.us.
Does somebody have details about how this whole thing works? What can I do to “force-send” my new starred items to del.icio.us?

Sloppily Blogging Complaints

Grmph. Yahoo TV won’t let me watch its video. Says my browser doesn’t meet minimum requirements — it’s Flock, you see, not Firefox. Huge difference. And when I try to contact Customer Care to tell them (bottom of page) the link 404’s.
And Swiss TV and radio both think I don’t have RealPlayer installed and offer [...]

Dammit, Flock!

Two days ago I finally got my MacBook. I imported stuff from an image I had of my iBook’s hard drive. I installed Flock.
Now look: almost all my del.icio.us favourites are dated August 11th. And I’m sure there’s no way to undo.
I’ve already been a bit squeamish about trusting Flock to sync favourites with del.icio.us. [...]

Flock: no Tag Editing :-(

Ah, what a shame! Once you’ve written tags for a post, there’s no going back and editing them. When I wrote my tags plugin for WordPress, I made sure that was possible, because I always tend to go and edit all sorts of stuff after publishing.
While I’m at it, I really appreciate that Flock tags [...]

Flock Again

You might remember that I tried Flock some time back on my (soon-to-be-defunct) iBook. It was neat, but a bit sluggish.

Now that I’m sentenced to using a winbox (probably until I get my shiny new Macbook), I’ve installed Flock again. It’s really neat! The posting interface for blogging is still great, and, unlike WordPress.com, it [...]

Give Us Real Tags on WordPress.com!

I love my WordPress.com blog, even though I sometimes have trouble deciding if I should post the geeky stuff here or on Climb to the Stars. The only thing that really bugs me is that if I don’t want to have to type in all my tags by hand, I need to use Flock, and [...]

Flock Suggestion (Blog Post)

I recently said nice things about the Flock Blog Post interface. It’s almost getting me reconciled with WYSIWYMG! So, here are a couple of suggestions if anybody is listening (and yes, I have a feeling you are…)
First of all, put the keyboard shortcuts for the formatting buttons in the tooltips. Like that we can easily [...]

Thanks, Flock!

Writing my last posts, I had a sudden intuition and tried hitting Apple+L when I wanted to create a link. Lo and behold, the “add link” box popped up! I’ll stop minding WYSIWYMG that much if I can do everything without using the mouse. And yes, I know WordPress has gone that way too.
Now, if [...]

Trying to reproduce the bug

Let’s try. I delete the markup in the source space. I type raw e-mail-like paragraphs instead.Double-space it so that WordPress knows to make a paragraph.Wait and see.
